Dimitri has a Master and PhD in Coaching Studies from the University of Sofia in Bulgaria. He has over 26 years of coaching experience, in Bulgaria, Greece and Canada. He carries on a family tradition for elite coaching, as his father was the Davis Cup Coach for Bulgaria.   Dimitri, since 2007,  has successfully implemented the provincial NTC program eastablished by Tennis Canada.  He was Organizational Supervisor for the 2004 Athens Olympic Games.   He is currently Director of High Performance and Coaching Development at People's Courts Tennis Academy.  BC NTC Head Coach and Tennis Canada Coach Level 3.
